Harrogate Herbal Medicine
Hello and welcome. I am an experienced medical herbalist practising in Harrogate and also teaching in the training clinic of the BSc in Herbal Medicine at Leeds Metropolitan University. I work within the holistic framework of herbal medicine to help your body heal itself, while empowering you to take charge of your own health through diet and lifestyle advice. To assist this aim, I also offer finger prick food allergy testing in conjunction with Yorktest. Phytotherapy, or herbal medicine, is the treatment of illness using plant materials and extracts. Plant medicines have been used for centuries from the tribal medicine man or woman, to the old apothecaries and on to the combination of traditional knowledge and scientific practice seen in herbal medicine today.
